Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and USA President Donald Trump will meet on September 21, as Trump’s National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster announced on Friday (September 15).

The two leaders’ meeting will be held in New York on sidelines of 72nd Session of UN General Assembly. Topics expected to be discussed are the situation in Syria and positioning of the two countries regarding PYD and YPG; the indictment against security team of Erdoğan that got involved in an attack on protesters in D.C. back in May; and, the probe against Turkey’s former economy minister Zafer Çağlayan, who has recently been ordered by a court in US to be arrested over charges of taking part in breach of Iran sanctions.
