Names were selected solely by Petek and AKP members

As the head of the commission Reşat Petek announced the list as if it is the final list, members from CHP and HDP objected and stated that reading out the names without any discussion and agreement among the Commission members was an ‘imposition.’ Though Petek corrected himself by saying he had forgotten to say it was a ‘draft’ list, the Commission was nevertheless forced to start off its work by listening to the people who had been invited by Petek to Commission’s meeting today (October 13).

As part of the October schedule proposed by Petek, the Commission members listened to AKP Denizli MP Şahin Tin, member of the Supreme Council on Religion Affairs Mustafa Öztürk, retired Staff Colonel from Gendarme Mustafa Önsel, and deputy head of Police Department Şafak Ertan Çomaklı, who is the person that had written the expert report on the appointment of a trustee to Koza Holding.
