Former AKP MP: 'Cumhuriyet is not a supporter of FETÖ; how are we to explain this?'
Former AKP MP for Tokat and a columnist in pro-government newspaper Star, Resul Tosun, wrote today: “We all know that Cumhuriyet newspaper is not in support of FETÖ and it cannot be! So, at a time when there is an ongoing effort for redrafting the constitution and a certain stage has been reached with regards to the establishment of a presidential system, how are we supposed to give an explanation on this incident (operation against Cumhuriyet newspaper), which is being used as propaganda about pressure on media… Aren’t we providing an excuse to the enemies of Turkey which they would take advantage of to a full extend.”
