French journalist Loup Bureau gets arrested in Turkey’s southeast
French journalist Loup Bureau, who was in Turkey’s southeastern border province of Şırnak to go to Northern Iraq, has been arrested.
According to reports of Turkey’s DİHA, journalist Bureau was brought before a court, which ordered for him to be arrested with accusations of ‘support to terror groups’.
Bureau had wanted to visit Şırnak and then go to the areas of Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq through the border gate in Habur.
