Jihadist group Ahrar al-Sham congratulates Turkey's president Erdoğan

Jihadist group in Syria, Ahrar al-Sham has congratulated Turkey’s President Erdoğan following the announcement of the referendum results in the country.

The group, which is a coalition of various violent Islamist and Salafist units who got together to fight against Syrian government led by Asad, shared 4 messages – two in Turkish and other in Arabic and English – from the twitter account named as Omran Muh.

In the Turkish messages, the group said: “We congratulate our Turkish brothers for the results of the referendum... We see our brother President Tayyip Erdoğan as one of those who works for the rise of Turkey and Islam and we hope for him to succeed...”
