Latest operation in Turkey involves high rank officials in intelligence, ministries, and security forces
In scope of the ongoing investigations into the failed coup attempt of last summer, chief prosecutor’s office of İstanbul launched a new operation in 17 provinces across Turkey.
According to latest reports, warrants of arrest have been issued against 53 people, including members of high ranked officials from Turkey’s MİT (National Intelligence Organization), TSK (Turkish Armed Forces), EGM (Security Directorate), and a number of ministries.
