Lawyer of Ayşegül Terzi's attacker had been a political candidate of AKP
Man who had kicked Ayşegül Terzi on the face in a public bus, Abdullah Çakıroğlu, was taken into custody for the second time when Terzi and her lawyer, as well as the public, reacted against his initial release strongly.
Following the second objection of Çakıroğlu’s lawyer, the aggressor has been released again. Meanwhile, according to the reports of Gazeteport, it has also been revealed that the lawyer of Çakıroğlu, Şemsi Dak, was a candidate from AKP during the local elections of 2014.
In his letter of objection, Dak wrote: “We request acceptance of our objection and lifting of the warrant for my client’s (Çakıroğlu) arrest, which was issued in an unlawful manner.”
