İstanbul Office of the Chief Prosecutor organized a religious chanting of the Kuran in the mascid of the courthouse with the participation of Hafiz Selman Okumuş and his group.

​For this Kuran reading activity, where judges and prosecutors were invited, the -6th floor of the basement of the courthouse was covered with rugs and turned into a mosque yard prior to the friday prayer. According to the reporting of Canan Coşkun of Cumhuriyet newspaper, during this religious chanting to which judges and prosecutors attended, in a way where men and women were seated separately, the Kuran was read out loudly throughout the hall of the courthouse with speakers.

Prior to the event, a message was sent from İstanbul’s Office of the Chief Prosecutor, saying: ‘Today at 12:15 at A1-Blok on the -6th Floor in the mascid of our courthouse, there will be Kuran reading with the participation of Hafiz Selman Okumuş and his group. All of our judges and prosecutors are invited.’
