Security operation called 'Peace Eve' launched in all 81 provinces of Turkey
A nation-wide security operation in Turkey was launched at evening hours of Friday (June 23).
Named as ‘Peace Eve’, the operation involves strict security checks at bus and train stations; airports; sea ports; and highways.
Carried out with the coordinated participation of teams from counter-terrorism, counter-narcotics, riot units, and traffic regulation, the operation will continue throughout Eid, which will start on Sunday (June 25) and end on Tuesday evening. Tomorrow is the eve of Eid.
