Turkey's Erdoğan: 'No difference between a terrorist with a gun and a terrorist with forex'
Turkey’s President Erdoğan gave statements about the ongoing parliamentary debates on constitutional amendements proposed by AKP.
‘No matter what you do, this bill will pass the parliament’
Referring to the objections of opposition parties CHP and HDP, Erdoğan said: “Trying to block the work in the parliament and make the process last longer would not bring about any success. Be it in 15 days or in one month, I believe that this proposal will pass the parliament and reach our nation no matter what you do. If you have respect for the nation; if you believe in the power of the people; and, if you believe in the principle of veteran Mustafa Kemal (Atatürk) about soveireignty belonging to the people, then, you should let the talks to end as quickly as possible so that it could be taken to the people (for voting). And, let’s say ok to the whatever decision the people make.”

Erdoğan also commented on the recent rise in the value of USD against TL, saying: “There is no difference between the terrorist with a gun and a terrorist with euro or dollar in hand.”
