Turkey’s president Erdoğan: ‘Those saying ‘no’ to presidential system are on the side of July 15’
Before taking off for his visits to Gulf States Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar on February 12th, Turkey’s president Erdoğan answered journalists’ questions about the upcoming referendum at İstanbul’s Atatürk airport.
Targeting the opponents of the proposed presidential system in the country once again, Erdoğan said: “April 16th will be the answer for July 15th. Those who are saying ‘no’ are taking sides with plotters of July 15.”
Erdoğan also commented on Operation Euphrates Shield in northern Syria and said Turkey’s armed forces will be ‘headed to Raqqa once Al Bab is completely wiped out of ISIL forces.’
