You'll be remembered for injustices, says chair of Turkey's CHP to government

In a message shared from his official Twitter account, chair of Turkey’s main opposition CHP (Republican People’s Party), Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, criticized the AKP (Justice and Development Party) harshly.

Saying the ‘political connections of the Fethullahist organization are still being covered up while the members of the opposition have been punished for the past year under state of emergency laws’, Kılıçdaroğlu called on to the government officials, saying:

“You are going to be remembered for your injustices!”

Saying the responsible authorities will ‘sooner or later’ be brought to justice, Kılıçdaroğlu referred to the night of the failed coup and added: “Is democracy calling people out to the streets and then carrying out a civil coup? We are forever on duty for the Republic, justice, and democracy.

After the civil coup of July 20, Turkey has turned into a state of a party. We are not going to allow this system, which sides not by the people but by the powerful, to last longer. Just as we stood against the coup attempt of July 15, we are also standing up against those who have carried out the July 20 civil coup and used the state of emergency for their own interest”.
