Erdoğan's guards physically attack and injure protestors in DC

As Turkey’s President was heading to the residency of the ambassador of Turkey in Washington, DC on Tuesday (May 16) after his short meeting with the US President Donald Trump at the White House, Erdoğan’s body guards violently attacked a small group of protestors outside of the resident who carried YPG flags and banners that said ‘Free Demirtaş’.

In the video released by Voice of America, one of the men in the group opposite the protestors is heard as saying ‘come on, attack.’

Nine people were injured as a result of the physical attack of the bodyguards. While two of them were severely wounded and taken to nearby hospitals in an ambulance, two protestors were taken into custody by DC Police Department.
