New year celebrations were not allowed in Taksim Square

New year celebrations were not allowed in Taksim.

It was announced that Taksim Square, which is consired as the center of Istanbul, will not be allowed to celebrate this year.

Beyoglu Police Chief Ismail Kılıç said "The people will not be celebrated new year in Taksim for a peaceful new year, and collecting here will not be allowed."

Mr. Kılıç announced this decision in a meeting held in a hotel in Taksim. He said at the meeting:

"The new year measures will be at the top level, and we will take measures twice in comparison to the past year because the attacker of Reina pulls the image first in Taksim and then sees the measures and turns to another place for attacking."
