Response of Iraqi PM Abadi to Erdoğan: ‘We won’t liberate our land by video calls!’

Prime Minister of Iraq Haider al Abadi responded to Erdoğan’s statements from yesterday (October 11) where he referred to Abadi and said: “Who are you? You should first know your place!”

Referring to Erdoğan’s appearance on CNN Türk through a live video conference call with Hande Fırat from CNN Türk on the night of July 15, Abadi stated: “We are not your enemy and we will liberate our land through the determination of our men and not by video calls.”

Before the remarks of PM Abadi, his Spokesperson had responded initially, saying Erdoğan was ‘pouring down oil on fire’.
