Turkey’s foreign minister: ‘If YPG doesn’t withdraw, we’re going to hit them’
Turkey’s foreign minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu gave statements about Turkey’s Operation Euphrates Shield in northern Syria and said: “After Al-Bab, we are going to go into Manbij. If YPG does not withdraw, we are going to hit them.”
Parts of the minister’s statements included the following: “So long this forwardness takes place, YGP and the regime forces, as well as other forces, will face off against each other. The only way to avoid this is for the ceasefire we have started to be strengthened and for the clashes between the moderate opposition forces and the regime forces to be ended.”
