Two lawmakers from Turkey's HDP stripped of seat in parliament

HDP MPs Tuğba Hezer Öztürk of Van and Faysal Sarıyıldız of Şırnak were stripped of their seat in the parliament through a voting held in the parliament today (July 27).

The two parliamentarians of Turkey’s second largest opposition party HDP (People’s Democratic Party) have been stripped of seat due to having missed 5 sessions of the general assembly.
