AKP and MHP to form a joint-commission to discuss amendment of the Constitution
The ‘draft Constitution’ of AKP, which also includes the proposed amendments with regards to shifting Turkey’s system to that of a ‘presidential system’, has been forwarded to MHP (Turkey’s Nationalist Movement Party) for review.
Meanwhile, according to the statements of officials from both parties, AKP and MHP are expected to form a joint commission to discuss both the presidential system and other points about creating a new constitution for the country.
