All venues serving alcohol shut-down in Yozgat ‘due to state of emergency’
State of Emergency Bureau of Yozgat Governor’s Office has shut down all venues that offer alcoholic-drinks – such as, bars, casinos, and night clubs.
In the notice sent from the Governor’s Office to the provincial police department, the following statements have been made: “As a result of examinations of incidents taking place in or around casinos, night clubs, and bars within our province, it has been observed that crimes of murder, threatening, assault, damage to property, resistance against security forces, putting the safety of people in danger, and going against the law of 6136 take place in these places.”
Giving a murder case in the Sarıkaya district of Yozgat as an example to such crimes, the Governor’s Office announced in its notice that ‘all such venues have been shut down and will remain shut down throughout the state of emergency.’
