Over 70K applications to Turkey’s Constitutional Court on emergency decrees rejected

In a recently released statement, Turkey’s Constitutional Court announced 70 thousand 71 applications it received with regards to decisions given through statutory decrees passed in scope of the state of emergency declared in response to the failed coup last summer.

The Court advised the applicants to refer their objections firstly to the relevant parliamentary commission which was also created with an emergency decree to receive and evaluate complaints and objections of people in regards to the decisions enforced under state of emergency.
