Armed aggressors open fire at a group of CHP youth branch in İstanbul
A group of youth branch of Turkey’s main opposition party CHP was targeted in an armed attack last night (January 26) in İstanbul’s Maltepe district as they were carrying out a ‘no to presidential system campaign’ by announcing an upcoming seminar in support of the campaign.
It’s been reported that the group’s car was targeted in a shooting, which left a group member shot and wounded.
As the wounded was hospitalized for treatment, CHP MP Barış Yarkadaş also gave statements from his twitter account saying the aggressors have also come up to the houses of the group members and showed them an ID which said ‘Police Newspaper’ on it.
